I was "formally" introduced to Second Life after watching the Monster Factory episodes about it, and I created my account some time after in 2019. Second Life had always felt overly complex and intimidating, but I acclimated quicker than I had expected.

Honestly, I do still think the game is overly complex and/or clunky in many ways... but it really isn't hard to jump into once you know the basic controls. Second Life is one of the most crazy, creatively free, and fun virtual world games available if you can live with its awkward aspects.

This section of my website serves to document all my SL-related activities, but I expect that I will mainly be updating the adventure log and landmark pages.

New to Second Life?

If you want to play and aren't sure where to start, the simplest guide I know is yogurt200's SL beginners guide. You may find additional useful information on cadnomori's Second Life directory.

I recommend playing Second Life with Alchemy Viewer (good performance, similar to default viewer) or Firestorm Viewer (many QoL features).
